Bible Study Designed for Life, Faith and Ministry
If you want to grow in your understanding of the Bible, strengthen your Christian faith, or become better equipped to serve in your church or ministry, our Recognised Studies offer a practical and flexible way to begin.
These programs are designed for Christians who want serious biblical study without the cost, rigid structure, or regulatory requirements of a government-accredited course. You can study from your own home, at your own pace, and choose subjects that reflect your interests, calling, and ministry needs.
Our Recognised pathway offers awards from a Certificate in Biblical Studies through to a Diploma of Biblical Studies, allowing you to build your knowledge progressively while developing a stronger understanding of Scripture and its application to everyday Christian life and ministry.
While these awards are not government accredited, they are designed specifically for Christian education and ministry development and have been used by students, churches, ministries, and Christian organisations in many nations.
We use the term Recognised Studies because the value of these programs lies in their relevance within the Christian community in over 150 nations. The emphasis is not simply on gaining a qualification, but on knowing God’s Word, growing in faith, and becoming better equipped to serve others.

At Vision Colleges, we believe Bible study should be relevant to your life, your calling, and the ministry God has placed before you.
That is why our Recognised Studies are not built around a rigid, one-size-fits-all curriculum. While we are always available to recommend subjects and help you plan your studies, you have the freedom to choose the subjects that best reflect your interests, ministry needs, and personal goals.
You may want to deepen your understanding of Scripture, strengthen your theology, develop practical ministry skills, explore missions, leadership, counselling, or Christian living. Your study pathway can be shaped around what is most meaningful to you.
Build Your Qualification as You Study
Every subject carries equal value and contributes toward your award.
Complete ten subjects and you achieve your next level of recognition.
As you continue studying, you can progress through four levels of award, from the Certificate in Biblical Studies through to the Diploma of Biblical Theology.
This means you do not have to commit to a long program before seeing the results of your study. Your progress is recognised along the way, allowing you to continue as far as your interests, calling, and circumstances lead you.

Completion of the Diploma of Biblical Theology can also provide a pathway into our Bachelor’s Completion Program, giving students who wish to continue their studies the opportunity to progress to degree level.

A Call to Go Deeper in God’s Word
For more than 50 years, Vision Christian Colleges has carried one clear conviction:
God’s people must know His Word.
Since 1974, under the guidance of Rev Dr Ken Chant, our purpose has been to help Christians move beyond a surface understanding of their faith—to become grounded in Scripture, strengthened in Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and equipped to serve with confidence and purpose.
What began in Launceston, Tasmania, has grown into an international ministry reaching believers and churches in more than 150 nations. Across those years, countless Christians have accepted the challenge to go deeper—to study, grow, and discover what becomes possible when the Word of God moves from the pages of the Bible into everyday life.
And the results can be remarkable,
Ordinary believers become better equipped servants of Christ. They gain confidence in what they believe and why they believe it. They become stronger contributors to their local churches—serving, leading, teaching, encouraging, evangelising, discipling others, and supporting the work of ministry.
For some, that journey leads into preaching, pastoral ministry, missions, leadership, or the establishment of new ministries. For others, the calling is just as important: to become a mature, knowledgeable Christian who knows God’s Word and is ready to serve wherever the Lord opens the door.
At Vision Colleges, we recognise that not everyone is called to the same destination.
Some are preparing for formal ministry and require accredited training. Others simply carry a hunger to know God more deeply, understand His Word more clearly, and become more effective in His service. That is why our Recognised Studies provide a flexible pathway for believers who want serious biblical training without being confined to a rigid academic program.
